Here’s The Thing

I am pretty much finished with this whole experiment, as it was, and totally don’t need all the hassle any more. Blogging was supposed to be a way to have a sort of imprint on the internet, it was a bit exclusive and sort of a prestige to have a good, cool blog that was a bit more special than everyone else’s, sort of how myspace was one hundred years ago.

Now however we have this douche web, a system of total proliferation whereby originality is eradicated by reblogging, retweeting and recycling information, content and, let’s face it, so many fucking .gifs of tits/cats/the most obvious moments from everyone’s favourite blockbuster movies.

Along with that, the blog idea always contains within it’s core a narcissistic self-therapy aspect, which I cannot deny the intention of or my disposition towards. A way to work out my issues, which is a cool person way of saying “I think I’m special.” We all do it, and I was going to have fun with mine. Alas as that was not to be; I blame myself, partially, for getting caught up in the Shoreditch/Urban Outfitters/OFWGKTA/fixed gear bicycle brand hipster fun of it all. However, and I cannot stress this enough,I blame you people more. You jerks have ruined that too.

You see, I didn’t specifically mention it in the previous paragraph, but you people on this website? You’re awful. I have nothing to say to any of you, and none of you have even come close to saying something even vaguely interesting in too long for me to register! The problem is, whilst young and stupid, I’ve been no better. Hence why I need to try and think of a different idea, one that doesn’t involve any of you.

I guess a quicker way to say all of this would have been ‘fuck off,’ but where’s the fun in that?
